Herbertstown House Stud is a private boutique family run thoroughbred breeding stud farm.

Purchased in 2011, Herbertstown House Stud facilities have been extensively upgraded by Ronan Burns and his wife Marcella. 

 

The farm is on 180 acres of high quality limestone land. It is farmed organically with regular expansion to Herbertstown's considerable native hedgerows and trees.

 

A third generation Group One winning breeder, Ronan has sold stakes winners on the racetrack every year since moving to Herbertstown House Stud, this has been achieved from small crops of yearlings.
